For more than 100 years Young Missionary Temple has been a true place of worship and has be en committed to serving the Lord as well as those inside and outside the walls of our church.  Loving God & Loving People is more than our motto, it is our calling.

  We C.M.E.'s recognized and embrace what the discipline says, and govern ourselves accordingly. We are Methodist and understand that our pastors report to the Annual Conference to receive their appointments.  Each year we eagerly await to hear/see who Bishop assigns to our church after the Annual Conference is over. Well, the wait is over,

"WELCOME BACK PASTOR!"

     As our new pastor, (i.e., recently reasssigned),  continue to preach the gospel, administer the sacraments, visit our sick, perform the ceremony of Holy matrimony, bury the dead, teach, uplift, inspire, and lead us in the way of holiness and righteousness.

 

     For 16 years you have been Preacher-In-Charge, Chief Administrator, and promoter of God's established means of grace.  We look forward to working with you again. From the youngest to the oldest we are grateful for your ministry. We love our 1st family.

TRUSTEE's at WORK

   The church voted by consesus to replace two non-working air conditioners.

          There are 4 units for the sanctuary, but only one on each side was operational.

    supervised the installation of the new Air Conditioners.

    Two matching coils were replaced in the attic. Without the new coils 

    the AC units would not work properly.

Pastor White preaches at  Annual Conference 2026

Pastor White preached a sermon entitle "Beyond Today" at the 2026 Carolina Region Annual Conference. Each year this service is conducted to memorialize  those who our loving Heavenly Father called from labor to reward.  Those who transitioned from the Church Militant to the Church Triumphant.  God Bless each of them.
